Hello friends
After posting alot and reading alot about stocks on here I have been told to make sure my trigger guard screws are 4.4 inches. Well I just thought I would measure mine and they are 5 inches. Whats up? This is a Wamart Axis HB in 6.5 Creedmoor. The mag says standerd short action. I wanted to get a wood stock for it but now I may not be able to. Any thoughts from you all?
thanks

Whats up is you have an Axis. Axis does not have a long action and a short action. They have one action length so if you want a Boyds for your Axis, they have them. Boyds uses the words "short action" and "long action" but when you look at the screw hole spacing they are the same for both.

....and the long actions are different, with the center fed and the stagger fed both being 5.25.
