In 1994 while living in south Florida my home was burglarized while I was away for the weekend one of the items stolen was my great grandfathers savage Modle 1899 in 250-3000 feather weight take down the rifle had been passed down to my grandfather then my father then me and all 4 of us had taken not only deer with the rifle but our fist buck
well to my shock I recieved a call on Wednesday and my rifle has been recovered I am in process of making arrangements to pick it up. My daughter shoot her first buck with a 99c but I would love for her to take a deer with the old 99
