Savage 11VT .243 wearing a new VLP stock

So I picked up this 11VT .243 @ Dicks before all the drama at a smoking price. Did a slight barrel break in and decided I wanted to go ahead and swap out the stock. I had this VLP stock laying around that was intended to go on my 12fv once I acquired the bottom metal.. so I thought why not throw it on the .243... and I did! Also swapped the synthetic bottom parts for the metal versions. So far I think it looks sweet! The small cutout for the top bolt release is barely noticeable. It added a good deal of weight but I really like it.

Nice, I had a VLP and yes the stock on it was a beauty. Wish I'd kept it, it was a 22-250 and shot lights out. Enjoy.
