Shooting against many of the top in the nation I managed to hold on to a 9th place finish and took Top Military Class after 2 days and 174 possible points I finished with 136. I celebrated with a glass of Merica Bourbon after I made the drive home, deprimed all my brass and through it in the tumbler to start prepping to shoot the Accuracy International PRS Match at CORE in Florida next weekend!

The top 8 had 3 prior National Champions and the rest have all won previous matches at the national level.

There were 18 stages at this match. I had some video footage of some stages, but I have to get them uploaded to YouTube before I can share them! Great time and good people! If you’re on the fence about giving a PRS, NRL, or a club Match a try all I can tell you is just do it already! Always a great time!

It’s early in the season yet, but we’ll see how I can hang in the national series this year!

Nice job and beautiful rifle. May I ask what action it is as it's clearly not a Savage? Saw another picture of yours in a different thread but it looked like it had a barrel nut on it, or perhaps that was an older rifle?

This is an American Rifle Company Mausingfield. It shares the same barrel tennon as the Savage actions. I was running it with Prefits up until this year where I got picked up on a new shop sponsorship in Shadow Hunter Concepts out of Snellville, GA who took over my barrel work this season. I currently have a second rifle in the works with SHC that I hopefully see all the parts in the next few weeks.

Debating building a 6.5 on another Savage action, or waiting for the Bighorn Origin...
