About the time I thought I was done, this one appeared. I needed an early Savage with metal grips to fill the gap I'll have to say I'm pleased with the quality for an early metal grip model. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180215/bb2cbbb22b23216ebce9ef7b26d81023.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180215/e94ecfbf32f88309f094b8132a9507cd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180215/11b3f702cf730693fba63a5c7c5797bd.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180215/6c616855acfb07a15c70b21de1e95026.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180215/56f6318f7a0885a837d4cadabe66f5ce.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180215/b5e6867efc65ef9a56251e6b3223672c.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180215/c8f3122adbb6b02c27c0a5b7deda419f.jpg

Interesting, I own a model 1895 octagon barrel that was shipped to the same place. They must have sold alot for Savage because an old buddy Wes had an 1899 octagon in 38-55 shipped to the same place as well.
