Couldn't resist the $100 rebates in December. Got two .243's- a youth model for my daughter for deer next year and a stainless full size Axis2 for me for Varmits/deer. Got a great deal on Leupold Vx2 scopes on discontinued/clearance sale. 3-9x40 for hers and 4-12x40 for mine. Finally got them sighted in last couple weeks. First testing of 3 shot groups from both guns with federal power shock 100 grain ammo was 7/8 inch or less. In mine I also tried power points and deer season XPs from Winchester with almost identical points of impact and group sizes. Got a case of the federal ammo with $50 rebate coming as well. Now need some decent weather for the 9 year old to shoot her rifle.
