Changed my mind on this one as a friend wanted to buy my 12BR. It wouldn't have been fair to sell the rifle with a different trigger.

Not to derail this but does that work for 10 series too?

On model 12s are the regular accu trigger & the target accu trigger interchangeable?

I would like to swap my 12 BVSS trigger with target accu trigger on my .308 BR.

Yes, I've bought two used target accutriggers off the boards here and put them on a 12FV and 12BVSS.

Be sure you don't just replace the trigger though. The sear, springs and triggers must all be swapped.

I've got a couple of rifles with the target trigger and they have HUGE warnings on them that read something like, "THIS IS YOUR MOM SPEAKING........THIS TARGET TRIGGER IS DANGEROUS. BE CAREFUL.... YOU'LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT", or something like that.

I'm wondering if Savage will sell a target trigger assembly to just anyone with the understanding that they will install it in an action without that huge warning stamp.

Has anyone here actually purchased a target trigger assembly? Or has anyone purchased just the sear and spring, which I think are the only parts that vary from the normal trigger?

Thanks, I decided against doing this as I had a friend wanting to buy the 12BR
