How would you apply it? Vibrate, tumble, etc? Try it and show us the results. My guess it will be to abrasive.

I would not be inclined to use it. I think you want to use polishing media that is softer than the brass. That way the polishing process will not wear away any brass from the case. I think the sandblast media is too hard and will removed brass from the case.

I tried it with glass bead media, it's too heavy/dense for a vibratory tumbler, and I got a lot of residue left behind on the brass. Oh, and it didn't work any better, if as well, as ordinary walnut shell or corn cob. That said, maybe a rotary/wet tumbler would work, as a substitute for stainless steel pins? Don't think I'd use the black, though, it is pretty abrasive, I'd try glass beads again if I had that type of tumbler. Keep us posted.
