Hello from Muddy pond Tn

Just a quick hello from a fellow predator hunter in Central Tennessee. I shoot target and coyotes anywhere from 100 out to 300 yds with a Savage 111 in 243 caliber with a Burris Predator Quest 4.5x14x42. It shoots very well ..but I have heard so much about bedding and need some info . like is it really needed My grouping is less than a 1/2 inch at 100 yrds. I keep being told it will tighten up my grouping.

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.. Thanks ahead of time.
