Where can I get some load data for the .223. Using amax 75gr? Powders on hand, imr4198 and h322, 8 twist barrel.

I would also try some 75 gr. and 80 gr. Bergers, e-mail them and they will send you data for those bullet weights. I don't believe 4198 will work with the heavier bullets, too fast burning. I don't have my data handy but, I have a number of loads worked up for my 1/8 twist barrel that is 26". I can send it to you but don't know how well it would work in your barrel.

Thanks Gentlemen,

I have some 322 to fool with. Got the barrel broken in and am working on 55 gr first. Plan to shoot the 75 gr for deer. Good data on the Hodgden site. Have a few more powders I use on the .243, will see if any match. The twist on this short barrel is 1/8, should work with a little less velocity. The Sinn Arms chamber is good work.

I use 55gr SGK on deer, accurate and takes the deer down with ease, neck shots work great too
