I have a question about a F-Class rifle. Does the stock and action have a built in cant? The action sets in the stock tilted
to the left.

It may have some cant ("toe out") depending what you ordered. Just to be sure - are you referring to the angle of the butt-plate to the forearm?

I had a flintlock fowler built with 1/4" cant for offhand wingshooting. I don't see how it would help from a prone position unless it was for a woman (they sometimes find that more comfortable to shoot).

I just measured from the bottom of the forearm to the top of the stock by the barrel channel. The right side is 3/16 taller than the left.
I bought it used so I don’t know how it was ordered.

I don't think what you are describing is the same as cant as used by stockmakers.

The stock is the factory one. I’m not sure how many owners it has had. The alignment problem may be the reason it was sold.

Put them on a host like Imgur.com (free) and copy the link to them.

Postimage.org is another good free 3rd party pic host.

If I understand correctly. You're saying the barreled action is "Tilted" to the left in the stock.

Is it glass bedded ??? this could be the problem. Someone could of fudged the glassing job.
