Being a novice to savage, I thought with a little wisdom I could rebarrel & restock a model 110....
now realizing that I maybe over my head and need experienced coaching and/or a smith in GA.
ideally in Atlanta /middle GA that could help/or take over for me.

Why do you think you are over your head?

Many people here are not professionals and have successfully done what you are trying to do. Lots of good info on this site as well as videos on youtube. It can be intimidating the first time but it really is a simple task that just requires patients and attention to detail.

It also requires the correct tools, which can be a pretty fair investment... But once you have that, it really is as easy as changing the oil in your rig... figuratively speaking of course.
