So ive just recently purchased my first left hand bolt action, after years if using my old 7600 .243. I spent a few $100 on a savage trophy hunter xp in a .308win. And im playing hell trying to find a left handed stock for this rifle with a thumbhole. Any points in the right direction would be greatly appriciated....thanks in advance

Check the model 10 stocks at boyds. The 10 series and 11 series are the same. 10 series were wooden stocks and 11 were plastic but action is the same.

Sure they do.

Make: Savage

Model: 11 Bottom Bolt Release
left hand bolt, short action

"BBR" is Bottom Bolt Release,. That is the Model 11 Trophy Hunter

But you forget that the Trophy Hunter's have the Axis magazine. That's why Boyds has Trophy Hunter specific options in their menu.

Don't let that bother you. Do what I said, get model 10 or 11 center feed, detachable mag, left hand (don't start with"Trophy Hunter"), and know you also have to order plastic ($15) or metal ($125???) bottom metal from Savage to go along with it.

I would call Kevin Rayhill @ Stockade Gunstocks & see what
he can do for you.

That's assuming he can actually order the part through Savage with how they're not wanting to sell parts to the public anymore.
