Hello Savage shooters , I'm crockett11 ...live in Alabama. 67 year old . My Dad started me off shooting when I was 10 and got me into hunting also .
Started me off with his 38 colt revolver , couldn't hit a tin can at all. Next up was his 9mm ww2 luger , hit that tin can every shot.. After that I went hunting with him and got to shoot squirrels with his 20 gauge bolt action shot gun . He taught me how to skin them along with how to skin rabbits . Got me a Ithaca
single shot lever action to hunt with after that . Loved that rifle .Nothing I couldn't hit after practice .After I got older started wanting bigger guns . Joined the Navy when I turned 18 and always wanted an AR 15 . Got a S&W 5.56 , that thing was loud. Started getting more rifles and handguns , 22 magnums along with 9mm and 357's . Henry , Rossi , and Savage rifles . 243 , 270 and just ordered a 7mm-08 . Got my Savages zeroed at right on target . Can't wait to try the 7mm-08 . Will enjoy being here ..Thanks a bunch ,crockett......
