Hi, My names Bob, I recently purchased a Savage 16/116 Trophy Hunter package in 7mm Rem Magnum at Cabela's when I was visiting family in Ohio. I got it for a song since one of my sons works at the store. I have went to the range and like the gun, not a bad shooter, not great but good. Not one to leave well enough alone so I plan on converting it to an aftermarket stock (Russo) and tossing the package scope and mounts for something better. This site looks like a great Savage resource.
