Hi Folks!

New here and not sure of navigating my way around!

I have a Savage 10 FCP-HS Precision in .308, and was wondering what options I have in terms of magazines which will fit and where I can buy them. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

Try accuracy international. See if they have them

AICS (accuracy international) magazines are NOT for the 10 FCP-HS.

Savage Short action magazines is what you want. Savage makes a 10 round magazine as well.

If you're in Canada here is a place (my local gun store btw)

Thanks Zero333! The Tombstone site looks good. I just wish Magpul or someone made a reliable version cheaper as I'm retired and living on a limited income, but as usual, I guess you get what you pay for! Thanks for the help!

Can I ask what bottom metal you ended up going with? Was any inletting necessary? Thanks.

Accuracy international make the bottom metal in the pic. No in letting was needed. I did need to cut the action screws that came with the bottom metal for a good fit

I personally can't stand the single stack AICS mags...just too damn long...

The correct site is accurate-Mag.com. Sorry for the error

Accurate Mag
PTG
CDI

all make bottom metal for AICS pattern magazines.

For short actions you have to specify the action screw spacing (4.27" or 4.40")

Inletting should not be a problem with factory stocks.

Thanks for the info, might have to break down and purchase this. I'm not a fan of the proprietary Savage mags on the new Savage 10s.

Another question for you, have you tried Magpul P-Mags with the AI bottom metal? From my understanding, the fit between AICS mags can vary, some being "loose" or causing feeding issues. I personally am a fan of the polymer style magazines and would prefer that over a metal AI/AICS mag. Thanks for any input.

Yes I have and they feed fine. You may have to fool with the magazine with a file to get it to feed correctly, but I did it and no problems.

Magpul Pmag 10 round 7.62 AC is the correct magazine for AICS pattern bottom metals.
