Picatinny bipod

I have a ultimate varmint stock on my model 10 with a picatinny rail. Would like to find a decent bipod that would mount directly to rail. Choices?

They run somewhere in the realm of $250+, depending on your shopping skills.

You won't be unhappy with though. You can also get snap in "feet" from spikes to flat "shoes" to fit your needs to adapt to surfaces. Also can get snap in leg extensions if you need a higher rest.

If your budget won't let you go over $100, get a Harris.

I did an adapter on the XLR chassis. It was the best option for a Sinclair bipod. Worked well for f/class

Look at Peloton Technologies. I think one of their models had a pic rail. I think their bipods are the best value out there . I used to run Harris until I discover their Tip Top models.

Best bang for your buck would be the Tiptop Rifle Bipod (S9N Series) from Peleton Technolgies for right around $100 ready to go out of the package. To get a Harris set up for a Pic rail you're going to need an additional adapter making it taller or have to replace the factory hardware on it. There are a couple of companies that offer those parts, but you'll be around $175-$200 on that set up. Atlas PSR you'll be around $250-$275 unless you find a good deal on a used one.

The only thing I've come to not like about the Tiptop Rifle bipod is that the legs do not like as tightly into position as I'd prefer, but I use the bipod much harder than the average shooter. If it's only being used for shooting prone or off a bench (or other like positions) it's the best option for you.
