Seems like everyone is out of stock. Midway... Brownells...Gun Shack... All out of stock.

Any suggestions?

Yea, several places have the PT&G's and that's a good option. Thanks.

I should call Savage and see what they have. Thanks. Not sure why I didn't think of that too.

You’ll probably have to sign a waiver form. There are rumors that they are no longer selling parts to public, however I’ve had recent successes ordering directly as have a few others on the forum.

This month, had to replace a new PTG with a factory one, PTG service is not very good and wasn't pleased with their product either. Go to Gunshack and buy the whole bolt kit for $22 and it will be shipped same day...bolt head, extractor, springs, etc.

Where are you seeing that kit that includes the head? This is all I see for a kit: http://www.gunshack.com/savage-parts/savage-bolt-head/savage-bolt-head-parts-kit

I got a kit with everything, may have added the bolt head. My advise after screwing around with the factory and PTG, get the kit and if you need it you will have the springs and all the parts. Had to replace the springs they were a bit weak.

I can not recommend PPG. Call Gunshack if you need help, you will be pleased with the service.
