Carbon fiber prefit barrels

Anybody making carbon fiber prefit barrels? Considering one for a 6.5x55 hunter build.
I swore I'd never want one, but I'm thinking a long light weight barrel would be nice.

Proof Research makes carbon fiber barrels for Savage rifles.......not sure about cartridge types available though.

For what they cost, couldn't you just buy a heavy SS barrel and then use the savings to hire a young boy from Kenya to act as a gun bearer?

Love my barrel. Here are two shots at a rock yesterday to confirm drop data. And, also my three shot group at 100 cause I had to pull my scope.

I am getting a new one in some 6mm flavor very soon. AMAZING hunting barrels.
