I'm new to this forum, actually didn't know it existed until just recently. Ran across it while I was looking to some information on my Savage model 10 in .308. Bought it years ago off of gunbroker, and haven't really shot it much since then. Got on the Savage website, and they don't keep records on the older models. Recently bought a Falcon M18+ scope and the combination have made this rifle fun to shoot. Also have a Springfield M1A with a Archangel stock, but as of this moment, the Savage is my long range shooter. I forgot to mention that the Savage has a Choate stock on it, making it about a 17 pound rifle. Additional note, my wife and I have 3 AR-15, and she has a AK-47. She may not be a sharp shooter, but she'll scare the heck out of any intruder.
