Just about anywhere there is woods!!!

National forests have plenty as do most of the state and federal reserves.

Where are you looking primarily?

My cousin hunts on the Bogue Chitto national wildlife managment area. I think you can hunt during squirrel season with a 22 mag. It is very grown up because of clear cutting and Katrina. There have always been gobs of hogs there. Of course you can hunt them during deer season with bigger rifles.

Ok then I am in gonzales. I have hunted the pearl quite a bit. There are a good number of hogs in there.

I haven't been there in the last 5 years since I moved to Gonzales. I was born and raised in Pearl River and hunted the WMA with my dad and good friends.

I was kinda looking for a hunting camp that was wanting to thin out there hog population! I know in east TX and northwest Louiaiana there a problem! I know a lot of clubs that already have set out feeders and the hogs are moving in eating all the corn. I would go out there and thin out a few! Plenty of places in TX allow this for members and non-members, just looking for a place closer. I know CAT island, the WMA there, and around the Angola area is loaded with hogs, just trying to find a contact!

I know it well, close to Stennis, CAT Island is a WMA, but hunting it is pretty tough at CAT island!
