I recently got a nice Savage that I would like to date, I think its from the 60s-70s.

Markings:
Savage 110 C Series J Stainless Steel Proof tested Cal .25-06 Serial A7410XX Stamped (SP) on the top and on the side stamped (19). There is what looks like one other stamp that is something like this (") on the other side.

I can post pics if it would help.

I read all the info from here http://www.savageshooters.com/content.php?105-The-Savage-Model-110-Rifle/view/2 but I couldn't find any info for my markings/serial #.

Can anyone here give me any more info?

Info you're looking for is in the sticky post right above this one. Yours was made in 1971.

The SP stamp is the proof stamp (Savage Proof). The 19 stamp is likely the assembler's number. No clue on the other stamp, but it wouldn't have anything to do with dating the rifle as starting in 1968 the serial number was used for that.
