It's no secret that Boyds Axis stocks have lost lustre in my eyes over the last year or two. However, hope springs eternal, and I remain on their email list. They still make a decent stock, and I'm always waiting for news of new and improved (which is to say "old and restored") Axis stocks.
Well, a few weeks ago I got an email about a special buy on some solid birch stocks they were offering for the Axis. They were also advertising the stocks for the Ruger American and the Mosin Nagant.
