Accutrigger safety question

Will the safety off of a non accutrigger fit a accutrigger?

There might be some non accutrigger models out there that were being made when Accutriggers first came out that use the same safety, but it would be a hard find. THere are basically two safeties out there for 10/110's and one cannot swap them out. If the action was designed for one, it must be used.

Having said that, you can put an Accutrigger on an action of the earlier design. Just use the original safety. There will be some small modifications necessary to make it fit and function properly. Not a big deal. DO I recommend it? No. There are better triggers out there that are designed for the non acuutrigger models.
