Length of base screws (Savage model 10 FCP-K)

Hi Guys,

Quick question, what is the thread for the standard mounting holes as tapped from the factory?

I need to get some shorter screws but can't seem to find the right thread...

Scope base screws are 6-48. The length will vary depending on whose mount it is. It is common to have to trim the front base screw to clear the barrel threads.
