Sorry work has been crazy lately and haven't had time to re-visit. Yeah that bou was a tough shot. He was at a slow walk, 35+ degrees uphill, around just under 300yds. I missed the first shot but to my amazement he stopped to look around and i had the opportunity to take a second one. We measured him out at just over 300lbs which is a nice size bull. Me and my buddy dragged him out whole(after gutting) which was quite the work out. I am super impressed with the hog hunter...its my got to bush gun.Might have a chance to proxy hunt for a co-workers disabled father this winter. If it pans out i'll try to harvest another caribou...maybe a cow this time...i think they taste better!!
