Does anyone sell new centerfeed blind mags, or do I have to try Savage? I looked on Numrich and Midway but only saw stagger feed boxes. I'm switching from a magnum to a 30-06 based case and assuming I need the correct box and follower.

There are centerfeed mags on Ebay. Does yours have the release lever on the stock or on the plastic floor plate?

I'm looking for a blind box magazine that is mounted in the stock, not a removable mag.

You just take the bottom floor plate off of a removable mag to install it as a blind mag.

And if you don't already have the "L" bracket/clip that holds the mag in the stock, you'll need that too. Otherwise the mag "floats" in the stock and effects feeding.

Call Savage and order the mag box and follower/spring as separate pieces - it will be much cheaper than buying them that way than buying a retail packaged DBM magazine.
