Hey guys, I was given a brand new (at the time) Savage 110 in 1999. .308 caliber

I've hunted with it a few times, but I'm starting to make some mods to it (scope, trigger, etc). I decided to join to see (and hopefully contribute) what other Savage users are experiencing, doing, etc.

Welcome. In 1999 there were some really good rifles coming out.
I Love to tinker on the old flat backs because most all of the parts were interchangeable and the factory stuff was easy to modify without having to go aftermarket. If you have a 3 screw trigger I darn sure wouldn't replace it just tune it up.
