what are the advantages of a stainless steel gun such as the weather warrior versus a fcns version in carbon steel? other than weather resistance. trying to decide between the 2.

SS is less susceptible to rust. Some say SS looks cool. Some say blued is less game-spooking. (that's a stretch, maybe). Blued is less expensive.

Advantages for whom, The user or maker? Since we are omitting elemental resistance, nothing is an advantage for you.

In the case of the purchase, SS goes for more.

Aftermarket they are the same.

No one seems to agree on SS lasting longer (barrel wear) vs Chromolly Steel.

You can actually get a CM unfinished (aka in the White) and it looks about the same as SS. If its target only, a bit of oil and it stays quite nice.

My aftermarket barrels are SS as I like the contrasting looks between a blue/black receiver and the barrel.
