Hello to all,
I am buying a Savage Model 12 LLR in 6.5 Creedmoor, a Weaver T-series scope and Harris bipod, and need a rifle case. The rifle’s OAL is 46.25”, and I prefer the soft case to the hard-sided one. I would appreciate your recommendations and look forward to your replies.

What's your budget?

I'd like to keep the cost under $75.00.

I checked Midway and missed that one. Thanks for the tip.

Cabelas xtreme long range soft cases are nice and around your budget, as are their heavy duty canvas soft cases.

I also like SKB products. Might see if there is something that would work for your application in the lineup.

Cabelas has some nice cases. The kind I like doesn't seem to exist anymore, but the nearest current model seems to be the "Ranger Deluxe".

I have several of these and they work great
Midway did handle them years ago but I think the last one I got , I had to get from the manufacturer

In my opinion, this is one of the nicest ones I've seen... Padding is excellent...

Just my .02 but,
In my opinion soft cases are for iron sighted rifles, and plastic hardside cases are for scoped rifles. Also makes it handy to carry a good cleaning rod in my case between the padding and the outside of the case.
Maybe un necessary but that's how I see it.

Do an e-bay search for VISM NcSTAR RIFLE CASE. Fairly waterproof, strong zipper and good padding, shaped so your bi-pod should fit. Around $30.

Look at American Mountain Supply. They are American made and reasonably priced. www.americanmountainsupply.com

Come on, I think you Butt is worth more than 2C

That said, I disagree to some degree. For traveling yes, aircraft, for sure an absolute.

I carry mine in a soft case to and from the range.

I will admit I dropped on off the wagon and knocked the scope askew. It shoots perfect but low. 20 MOA rail backwards fixed that!

I bought one of Cabela's Elite Long Range Rifle soft cases. Of all the cases I've owned over the years this is one of the best. Solidly made from good materials, solid zippers, good padding, and will hold my MDT-Tac 21 equipped rifles with a Nightforce BEAST mounted. Carries with scope up and has several different configurations for the case sling. Price--- $79.95.

Liked my first one so much I bought a second for my other MDT-Tac21 equipped rifle. Pockets for extra mags, cleaning gear, and a cleaning rod fits inside with ease. Only time I'll use my hard cases now is for air travel.

RC20,
Precisely why I prefer a cheap plastic hardside with egg crate foam inside. I have some pricier versions but the inexpensive ones seem to do just fine for my needs. Good solid rings bases and optics are some reassurance but on the way to the field where there are no fouling shots, warm ups, and do overs, is no time to knock anything askew. That and I like being able to pile gear in a vehicle with the same reassurance. I used to keep a bore snake in my case, but after getting a long loaded bullet jammed in the lands on an out of state hunt, I now keep a good cleaning rod in my case as well and it stays protected. My shotguns on the other hand are usually in a soft side.
It sounds like the OP is looking to protect and carry an long range varmint/target style rig. Why he wouldn't prefer the protection afforded by a hardside puzzles me a little, but hey, his rig, his money.
