Hello, this is my first post as i have just joined today, i live in the north island of new zealand, i grew up in a small country town of tokomaru which sits on the foot hills of the tararua ranges, hunting is at our door step, lots of red deer, sika deer, wild pigs, duck hunting ,pheasant,geese,swan etc.i started hunting around the age of five as did my brothers, our father spent more time in the hills than at home and taught us very well in the art of bush craft and how to bag many trophy stag heads, it was not differcult to shot 3 or more deer a day,we even had our own hut,i also have a boat and love sea fishing and scuba diving as we are only a 15 minute drive to the ocean, i have quite a good collection of vintage .22 rifles, almost all american, mostly savage,stevens,winchester,browning.i would love to hear from anyone with the same interests,weather its just to share a story or maybe about a gun etc.i am not sure if it is possible to have gun parts etc sent from country to country etc as i am looking for a bolt to suit a 1904 savage .22 rifle.
