Can you tell me what a BTH111 HF is?

Also, why would you want to change the stock?

I have an older one with a Bull barrel in 30-06 and love it.

I prefer the BTH lightweight over the target stock. I have two of the targets and like them, but prefer the lightweight.

It's the thumbhole stock 111 with a hinged floorplate. I personally don't care for that style Stock but doing it this way would be cheaper than special ordering a rifle.

6.5x284 Norma is my planned next custom build. I just can not for the life of me decide on a barrel mfg and barrel material. Life's tough sometimes. I would vote for the OP to highly investigate.

Take a look for a different stock if you don't like the thumbhole... Still cheaper than having savage build it for you.

Too bad then, my second Savage was that in 30-06. Love it. Shoots some great groups. I prefer the stock over the target TH. It shoots at least equal with the heavier stock cousins in the cabinet (308 and 75 Swiss, one a Boyds and the other an EABH)

A bit better cheek fit with ear muffs on.

Thanks! That's where I went first and couldn't find one for it. I found a light weight hunter stock will work and much cheaper
