If you read this, it was a survey of the top 100 sharp shooters, weight sorting is not big in their priority...some will sacuf at this but when I sort my cases (after all prep, trimming etc) I use a pitch frequency app and sort then according to pitch... pitch will be alot better indicater of case volume than weight

I guess that is because they pay the big bucks for Lapua brass or similar where I am using stuff like Federal or Winchester brass that was either from commercial ammo or new brass. I may spend the time but they are spending the bucks. A matter of preference but generally I have more time than money and I believe I get similar results considering what I am shooting. Thanks for the feedback.

Check out starline brass... very good quality at half the cost of the big 3... there's is very little argument that starline is the most use and best name in the straightwall brass world, they just started bottle neck 2 maybe 3 years ago and I have no complaints yet... their weight deviation is as good as any I've seen, when you feel it in your hand you can tell it's not cheap brass... my brother and dad have the same 20 rounds they started with... I think we are up to 12 or 13 reloads on it... I don't get shoot as often as they do but mine has 6 reloads on it so far... this is all .308...
