Hello from SE MO

I am currently living in the SE MO area. I've been shooting since I was 7 so I have a little experience. Started getting interested in long range shooting when I was in the Army. Currently building budget rigs a little at a time. I have a Savage Axis in 243 and a pre accutriger 110 in 30-06.looking to building something out of my 110 but not 100% sure where I'm taking it.

Welcome aboard! A simple uncomplicated mod to your 3006 might be to rechamber it as a 3006 Improved Ackley. A gun smith will have the tool to rechamber it. Your barrel will be good, bolt and magazineshould be fine too!
