Hello everyone, I'm Jake and I'm new to Savage Shooter's but not to Savages! I currently only have one Savage, an older model 110 in .243 that was my first deer rifle that I'm in the process of having some custom work. I've owned several 110's in .270 or .30-06 over the years, but right now I've got my eyes on a 12FV in .223 and then a yet to be determined medium bore rifle.
Anyways, its great to be here and I look foward to reading and posting lots.

Jake, looks like we have a pretty similar line up. 110 243win, 111 3006, 12 in 223rem and 22-250(love the 22-250. Wish I got it before the 223)

Thanks for the welcome! I sold my last Savage .270 to help finance the purchase of a Steyr and a Zeiss. While I loved my 110, can't say I'm disappointed with how that turned out! Once I round out my battery with a 12FV and likely a Hog Hunter in .338 Federal, I'm going back to the Savage .270 pool!

You might need a 7 REM MAG, or maybe a 7mm Mashburn Super Magnum... it's basically the 270's neighbor on steroids. The MSM takes a bit of work...
