Axis Predator 6.5 creedmoor

Picked up a heavy barrel Axis Predator 6.5 yesterday. Changed out the stock to a Boyds Classic in forest Camo. Solid rifle. Does anyone know what the barrel twist on these would be? I checked the web site today but they don't have it listed. Looking to stock up on some bullets for load development and wondering what size will be best.

Most likely 8 twist. My 12fv 6.5C is a 8 twist, and every other Savage in 6.5 that I've seen is a 8 twist.

I'm hoping an 8 twist. I'll check it before buy very much.

If I remember correctly, Savage only makes the Creedmoor(6.5) in 8 twist.

Could use the old tape on a cleaning rod with brush and a tape measure trick to find out for sure.
