i am trying to get some info on a tactical style stock for my savage dual port action.it sits in a nice walnut/maple stock but it's to nice for what i do with it.i would like something synthetic or fiberglass but my options seem limited.i want something in a tactical style.i want to sell my current stock to fund a new one.any help ould be appreciated.thanks,marty

McMillian will stock it for you. They inlet for Savages and will even bed it for you. They aren't cheap, but there is a reason McMillian has the success they do with the tactical market. They have a lot of military contracts and have had they for a long time..... I have shot rifles stocked with A-2, A-3, and an A-5 (none of them Savage) but truly loved the feel of their stocks.

The dual port (And new target actions) actions have a different screw spacing and trigger guard, (Model 40) than other Savages. Whatever you get will have to be a custom order.
