Seems like a great forum/resource. I've been shooting a 17hmr savage (93r17) this summer and have had a blast. Just ordered a 223 Savage 11 VT. It was a good deal on Gunbroker and I've read a lot of good things about it. Figured at some point I'll be changing the stock and the scope but for now will keep it as is until I can outshoot it. ;).
I've read conflicting info on the twist rate of the 223 11 VT barrel, Can anyone help immediately with that?
Also, if anyone has any good handload development OR factory ammo for that particular rifle I'd appreciate it. Don't want to be spending any money if someone's already done the groundwork.
