I'm not exactly a regular poster here..I have 2 Savage rifles, a 10FP .223 and a Savage Scout and both are excellent shooters. I mainly look in to see whats new in the Savage World and look at ideas on customizing my rifles or reloading. I'm retired now and run my own business...it's still work, but at least it's mine. I worked for 27 years as a Veterans Representative for the State of Missouri and I also spent a total of 30 years in the regular Air Force (nuclear weapons) and the Air Guard (AMMO and base training).
The wife and I have been married for 37 years and we have 3 sons, all are in or have served in the military.
Someday I want to go back out West and do some prairie dog hunting in Wyoming. I spent a fortune when I was stationed out there shooting at those little rodents. I was shooting a 220 Swift in those days and I still have a notion every so often to build another one. If I do it will be on a Savage action.
