OK.....I read through 4 threads on the Savage 112 Magnum Target. And still have questions.

What I would like is a rifle like the 112 Mag. Target in a chambering other then .338 Lapua. I am looking for a very heavy bolt action, with-OUT a magazine, chambered in .300 Win. Mag. or maybe .300 RUM.

Is blocking the magwell in not an option? The BA action is strong but a repeater. There are options if you dont have to have a solid bottom action.
