I just purchased a Savage 12FV in 6.5 Creedmoor over the weekend. This is my 2nd bolt action rifle. My first is a worn out Mosin carbine. I look forward to shooting my new Savage once it arrives.

What a nice package! Your going to love ringing the bell at 300 400 and 500 yards with the creedmore... and that's not to imply you won't be able to ring the bell at 1000 yes

Most clubs around here only go to 100 or 200 yards. I know of 2 that have regular events that go to 600. I don't know where the 1000 yard ranges are, if any.

Midland has 50, 100, 200, 300, no restrictions, and a 600 with an added certification or under supervision. Yes. 1000 in Michigan is a challenge. My point was the 6.5 Creedmore really flies long and flat. You'll have fun! Welcome aboard

1000 yard lines are few and far between in this state. I'm a member at MTC (https://youtu.be/_Lpc85_LWLA) up in Lake City. Nice range with steel for days!
