Had some spare time so I figured why not. Spent a little too long on the etched logo and started to fade it out. If I were to do it over again I would avoid the logo altogether.

In my opinion that new logo isn't worth saving anyway.
Nice work! If that bolt were any shinier, it'd be giving off its own light.

My opinion is the same as your opinion. Nice job on the bolt.

Looks good, did it make it slide smoother? And, what did you use?

Thanks guys.
prdatr: The slide was like butter right out of the box. I would say it is slightly smoother afterwards, but nothing too crazy. Hard to improve on something so good to start with. I used a bench grinder with a couple different compounds. Since it's a wear item I didn't try to get it perfect , however if you have a display or very low usage firearm I would suggest wet sanding first to get as close to flat as you can (if you're so inclined).

Nice job! Polished mine also; did the head, lugs, and internals. Minor difference in smoothness felt also, but didn't hurt anything.
