My .223 rifle has a 24", 1-9 twist, 5-R bore. Does anyone have a favorite "FACTORY LOADED" round they can recommend and the ones to avoid ? Grain weight, manufacturer. I'm trying to avoid spending a ton of money on ammo that probably won't shoot well. i just want the tightest groups I can get on paper. I don't reload and have no desire to. I do realize to get maximum accuracy, reloads wouldn't hurt. I know every gun is different. I just wondered if there was a common pet round that consistently shot well for you.
