Just acquired a Model 19 Glock frame
What would you build it as
9mm , 40 S&W , 357 sig

I'd stick with the 9mm. 40 S&W uses a different size frame. Not sure which frame the 357 sig uses.

Build it in 9mm. Pretty sure all 3 use the same frame but stick with 9.cheapest ammo and not much ballistic games with modern ammo for the other 2

I also say 9mm Parabellum. Lots of cheap yet good ammo will allow you to practice very often with out breaking the bank (or having to rob one, hehehe j/k)

The G19 is a great carry piece.
I have others but love the capacity/size combination. Recently asked myself why not carry something smaller (sometimes I do) and was answered within a few days with a very uncomfortable situation, despite my best efforts to be situationally aware. I found myself surrounded way outnumbered at a gas station in a normally very peaceful neighborhood by what appeared to be "gang members" from another part of town. Man the world is crazy and things can go from sugar to spit in a heartbeat. Didn't have to draw but felt if I had that even a double stack + 1 in the pipe may not have been enough.
Mine rides daily in an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck 3 supported by a Bigfoot gunbelt. (great highly reccomended combination)
After that I was reminded of all the reasons why I chose the G19 in 9mm for daily carry.
