I recently purchased a MKII BV. I want to keep the same LOP. I just don't like the way the plastic one slides around on my shoulder. Does anyone know where I can find a pre-fit butt pad to replace the plastic one?

I've used the Grind to fit pads from Kick-EEZ a couple of times now. They are easy to work with and you can order them in a size that allows you to adjust Length of pull if needed. With a bench Grinder or belt sander you can quickly get them shaped up and installed. They provide their grinding instructions with the pads and I never found a reason to do it any differently.

There's also a "slip on".

Thanks for the replies. Looks like the grind to fit is the way that I'll go. Flip flop and slip on wouldn't be as clean looking.

In case anyone else is interested in replacing their thin plastic or metal butt pad. I found the grind to fit Pachmayr 500B. It has a basketweave surface and is .4" thick.

Pachmayr 500B is it the Small, Medium, or Large, which is the correct size for the mark II?

Underdog,
The small one fits on the MKII BV laminated stock.
