Started with an Axis 223, installed an accutrigger, got an unfired 204 Varmit barrel and tactical bolt handle from a member here. Boyd's thumb hole stock in coyote, installed a single shot ramp today. I've had it to the range 2 times looks like going to be a keeper. May try bedding next, never done that before.

Need pictures. Sounds like a cool build. I have to assume the Axis doesn't come in 204 or you didn't like something about the factory version.

Mine was sub-moa with no bedding in a Boyds. But it may have made a slight Improvement.

Have not shot 200 yds. But at 100yds. 1/2 to 3/4 inch for 5 rounds, I've ran about 50 rounds through it . Just getting broke in also I'm trying to get used to a new rest. Installed a single shot follower from sss works great. I would post pictures if I could . Maybe later. Overall I'm well pleased. Only bullets that I have used are 32 grain v max they seem to work well.

Shot the 204 at 300 yds. 3 shots about 1 3/4 group I'm happy.

It does get boring. I live about 2 hrs. From the closest range past 100yds. So it's a treat to be able to stretch out a little.
I'm still trying to get my 3 Contender pistols to the boring stage, biggest challenge I ever attempted. Gives me something to do. It's still fun to out shoot high dollar rifles with a bunch of used parts that I gathered up.
