Savage Model 10 BA Stealth 6.5 Creedmoor LH thoughts

Had a 5x25 PST gen 2 on order for awhile and it just shipped. Was looking at getting a 10 FCP-SR LH but they only come in 308 currently. Was looking at converting it to 6.5 Creed and maybe add a chassis later. Just saw that the 10 BA is now offered in LH (not sure how long it has been out). Anyone have any recommendations.

Guess that would really depend on what it is you really want.

Traditional stock v. chassis?
Heavy barrel v. med. heavy barrel?
Savage magazines or AICS magazines
6.5 CM or .308?

The $300 or so price difference would just about offset the cost of an aftermarket 6.5 CM barrel. Overall I think the Stealth is the better buy if you don't want to or plan on doing upgrades in the near future as the chassis and AICS mags are superior to they synthetic stock and Savage mags.

Going with stealth, but cant find any of the 6.5s in LH in stock. Hope im not waiting months as i would like to test the pst out, been waiting long enough for that.

Savage announced the LH Stealths at the NRA Annual Meeting in April, so I would imagine they should start hitting the dealers any time now.

308s are in stock at some. No 6.5 Creeds that I can find, even on GB.

I would love to have a 110 BA stealth in 308. Only thing that is stopping me is the barrel. If it had a 26 inch, or even a 24 inch barrel, I would probably be all over it. I just don't want to buy one just to have to swap out the barrel right off the bat.
