Just thinking about a new project for winter and wondering if anyone is or has shot one.
How is the barrel life, the accuracy, ease of forming? It will go on a single shot worked over action placed in a McMillan edge.
Use will be short range BR.
Thanks

I have one with a shilen barrel. Shoots 55 grain bullets sub moa. Also loaded 70 grain BT. Fun to shoot. Forming is one step with 6x223 dies. Mine is a savage with after market bottom metal to use 10round magazines. Good for prairie dogs or yotes very little recoil

If you want speed out of 55g-60g bullets try AA2200.

Did you analyze the 6mmTCU, The TCU family (6mm, .25, 6.5, 7mm and .30) was developed for Contenders and is a 6x45AI with a 40 degree shoulder. Dies and reamers are still available.

Check it out, I think it is a better alternative.

Actually I have but I have so much 6mm stuff around it makes better sense.
I have already contacted Apachie and will be starting the wait process as soon as I send the check.

6TCU and 6x45AI are NOT the same. Close but different.
