Stevens 22/250 magazine?

Guys,
Are the centre-feed magazine boxes for the Stevens 22/250s blocked at the rear?

I've got a 308Win and 223Rem and the width of the 308 is perfect for 7.62x39 other than length, whilst the blocked length of the 223Rem is perfect for length but too narrow. Just wondering whether the 22/250 magazine box may provide the best of both worlds in building a bolt-actioned 7.62x39.

Looking at mine right now and there is no block of any kind in it.

After looking at it more it is probably the same box that is used for the 308 as I can get 308 rounds into it and there plenty of length to spare.

Excellent ... that saved me a few dollars buying parts from a 22/250. I'll use the 308 rifle I have with a complete 23bolt opened to specs for the 7.62x39 plus another barrel chambered to 7.62x39. Might use a 0.308 bore rather than 0.311 though.
