Are savage axis barrels same quality as savage 10/110?

My buddy got a brand new axis and immediately took the barrel off without shooting it. Will this fit my savage 10 action? It is a small shank axis. Also what is the quality of the axis barrels compared to the savage 10/110 barrels?

They are one in the same. I have been running Axis barrels on my comp rifle now for about 2 years. My current Axis barrel will shoot a 1" group @ 500 yards. Yes, they are accurate.
